2008 CHEST Foundation Clinical Research Awards
The CHEST Foundation knows how important research is and how difficult it can be to secure funding for it. The CHEST Foundation has awarded over $3 million, since 1997, to ACCP members to foster significant research that can make an impact at the bedside and provide new treatment options for patients around the world. The Foundation has offered research awards in such areas as critical care, respiratory health, lung cancer, lung transplantation, and geriatrics. Through The CHEST Foundation’s support of clinical research, ACCP members have made and are making significant improvements in the fields of pulmonary and critical care medicine.
