Families at the Center of Care

One of the main objectives of the CCFAP is to increase families' satisfaction with the care and treatment of their loved ones, as well as, with the information provided by the caregivers. The following are family survey comments that highlight the success of the program.

Here's what the families have to say...

I was given the phone number to call and check on husband while I was away from the hospital, and they were very kind when I did call, never made me feel as if I was bothering them.

They kept tabs on me as well, making sure I was eating and resting. They treated me as family.

They explained all the tests, treatments and conditions. A great job.

The ICU nurses were outstanding and always willing to talk to me and explain anything I asked about.

The team went above and beyond with finding information on conditions and giving to me. It helped me understand his condition better.

They keep up with all procedures and were always willing, no what time it was, to keep us informed.

When I was really scared they comforted me. I really appreciated that a lot.
